My BUSY Life!!!

It has been a while..but here I am!!!

Life is busy as a stay at home mom, working from home to continue being a stay at home mom...building a house and getting ready to move two kids!!! My lifestyle leaves very little blog time! :)

They have started on our new house and we are very excited!! Ryan is already used to his new yard because we can't stay away from there! We were hoping to be moved in by Christmas..but not sure the house will be finished in time. We will see!!

Arkansas Razorback Fan Day

Yesterday we took the boys to Fayetteville for the Razorback Fan Day. It started with an open practice where Ryan got to watch the football players on the field. Then we went to eat some pizza and came back to the campus for the fan day fair. Ryan didn't want to jump in the bounce house, but he did walk around and he sat in a motorcycle helmet for a picture. Happy Birthday Reece! June 29, 2010

Baby Reece was born on June 29, 2010 at 9:27 a.m. He weighed 8 pounds 1 ounce and measured 20.25 inches. We are very happy to have him here finally! He is a very good baby. Ryan is adjusting pretty well to his new brother.

Baby Pool - What's Your Guess?

This is a baby pool for everyone to guess when Reece will be born, and how big he will be. Leave a comment with your guesses and make sure to leave your name with it so I will know who you are! :)

Some hints: I went to the doctor this morning (Thursday)..I am 3 cm dilated, 70% thinned (effaced) and very ready!!! I am a little over 37 weeks pregnant. She said I could very easily go into labor this weekend..which would be great because I am ready and my doctor is on call!
Ryan was born at 39 weeks exactly, weighed 7 pounds 2 ounces and measured 20 inches.

At my 32 week ultrasound with Reece, he weighed 5 pounds and 1 ounce..and she said he was chubby! :)

I don't mean to brag, but for our baby pool guesses with Ryan...I was only 4 minutes off! I don't expect to be that lucky this time..and since I am the mommy, if my guess gets passed up, I get to guess again! :)

Happy Father's Day

This picture was taken a couple of months ago of Ryan's first time on the boat. He was helping daddy put a fish back in the water.

Happy Father's Day to all of the dads out there! :)

It is hard to believe that this is Nick's 3rd Father's Day! He got to have a Father's Day with Ryan just a few weeks after Ryan was born.

Nick, you are such a great daddy to my baby and we are both so lucky to have you! Thank you so much for working so hard for us to be able to live the way we do. I love being able to stay at home with Ryan and I owe that all to you! I love you so much and Ryan does too! He looks up to you more than you even know..even at such a young age. Thanks for everything!

Dad, I want to wish you a Happy Father's Day today. Thanks for always being so supportive of me and everything thing that I want to do. I know that you will always be there no matter what I want in life and I thank you for that. You are a person that I can count on when I need something done a certain way..I know I can let you know what I want and that you will do everything you possibly can to make it happen! I love you!

To all of the other dads out there I wish you a Happy Father's Day! You are all special and a very important part of your kids' lives!

I was reading an email that my mom sent me just now and I actually sat here and cried...I immediately copied the quote that brought me to tears to post it on my blog.
Here it is:

Even though pregnancy is so hard on me..and I am soooo ready for it to be over, this is so true!

I love both of my boys so much and I am so blessed that I have been able to carry both of them inside me as they grow!

Ryan's Elmo Birthday Party

Well...my baby turns 2 today.... :( He is turning into my big boy..especially since he is going to be a big brother soon.
We have a busy day today getting ready for our ELMO PARTY tonight!!!!

We Miss You Daddy!

Nick has been gone on his fishing trip since Thursday morning and Ryan and I are missing him!
Luckily Ryan has been a pretty good boy for me..we've been staying pretty busy.

Daddy will be back tomorrow and we are excited to see him!

We love you daddy! :) You are not going to believe how swollen my feet have gotten since you have been gone...It's pretty cute!

The Swelling Has Begun...

My poor feet! They have started to swell just like they did when I was pregnant with Ryan...
I have 7 weeks until my due date..hopefully they won't get too bad!

Waiting on Baby Reece...

In our effort to save some money, Nick and I decided to have our own Maternity photo shoot. We went to Ben Geren yesterday afternoon and took lots of pictures. I have posted only a few and I am having the rest printed to put in an album.

I would say that Nick did a great job at being our photographer!!! Especially considering the extremely white model he had to work with! Ryan was a very good subject for the pictures..but mommy has looked better before...

We are going to take some more sometime at our house also, so I will post them when I get them!

Ultrasound Pictures

I had my 32 week ultrasound this morning!!

We are still having a boy! He is 5 lbs. 1 oz. right now and very active!
She told us not to worry about the dark spot that looks like a hole on his head..it's not a hole!! :)
He is already head down, and in the exact position that Ryan was at this point! She told us that he has long legs (just like she said with Ryan)...Surprise!! I wouldn't expect him not to with Nick and me!! She also said he is taking up all of the space he possibly can..his legs were stretched out completely straight at one point! LOL! No wonder I am so uncomfortable....

After seeing him, I am even more ready than I was for him to be here! I can't wait to see what he really looks like and I really hope that he is a good baby...
