More Cousin Time!!

Ryan and I have had so much fun spending time with Barbara, Brian, Logan and Leighton while they have been in town!! Logan and Ryan have really started playing great together! I wish they lived here! :*(
By the time they get the chance to move back to Fort Smith, Logan will be about to start kindergarten..so that means Ryan will be starting 1st grade..ahhhhhhh!!!!
We love them and miss them so much when they aren't here, but we look forward to each visit!

Welcome Home!

Well, we decided to go ahead and secure a lot to build our new house on!
We have been looking for a while at a few different lots in Reata..a new subdivision in Fort Chaffee developed by ERC..and the lots in our price range were starting to disappear very quickly, so we decided that now was the time to secure our lot if we wanted to live in this new neighborhood someday!
So that's exactly what we did!!! We put money down on Lot 19..It is one of the wider lots than some of the others in our price range which is great because it will give us a lot of extra room on either side of our house and we will still have a nice big backyard! We are excited but nervous.

So, the plan is to SELL OUR HOUSE before we start building, but as a thank you gift for joining the neighborhood, ERC is clearing our lot for us..so they will probably be doing that in the next week or so..as soon as Nick and I can mark the trees we want to keep!! At least that will feel like some progress on the construction process.
Hopefully our house will sell really soon and we can start building...SO IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR A NICE HOUSE, WE HAVE ONE FOR SALE!!! :) Our house has been great..we have lived here since we got married about 6 1/2 years ago and it was brand new when we moved in. It will be sad leaving our home but very exciting to move on to the next one and make it our new home with our boys!

New Recipes

I have been wanting some new recipes because I have been so tired of making the same stuff that I always do..so I have been searching the internet. I found a recipe blog and tried a couple of recipes off of it and they were both really good!
The first one I tried is Easy Turkey Meatloaf and it turned out really good..Nick still doesn't know what kind of meat was in it!
The other one was probably one of the easiest meals I have ever made, besides heating up leftovers or a frozen meal! It's called Tracy's Awesomest Chicken & Salsa. You have got to try this..super easy and very yummy! :)
I am still on the search for new recipes, so if you know of any good ones that you have tried, please post them in my comments or post a link to a good place to find new fun recipes! I would really appreciate it...and I know Nick would!

Ryan's Cousins

My world consists of footballs, basketballs, trucks, and legos...and I know this blog is supposed to be all about boys..but I can't resist posting a few pictures of my baby nieces (Ryan's cousins)!! Logan (17 months) and Leighton (2 months) are in town with their mommy (Barbara) from Kentucky for 3 weeks and they came over to our house last night to play with Ryan.

Finally!!

Ryan is almost 2 years old and up until yesterday he had not been on a boat ride! Poor guy!
Well...yesterday Daddy, and Ryan and me all went out for a quick boat ride at Lake Jack Nolen in Greenwood. Ryan liked it...He was a little more active than I like to be when I am relaxing on the boat..but what can I expect?? Nick fished and I chased Ryan back and forth making sure he didn't take his first swim in the lake as well! I am sure that he will be taking many more boat rides in the future!

I Am Taking Over

Welcome to my new family blog!! Everyone has been wanting us to update the other blog...and I wasn't happy with the way it was set up..(because I didn't do it) :).
I have all of a sudden gotten pretty computer savvy, so I decided to just make my own family blog. I will try very hard to get into the routine of posting stories and pictures of MY 3 BOYS.

As you know...I have one son, Ryan who is almost 2 years old. Ryan has a baby brother due this summer. So..my 3rd boy..is NICK! He is my husband, but he is still one of my boys. I have gotten used to the fact that I am going to be the only woman in our house forever...and I love it that way! :)
